We will have our first day of basketball registrations at the Multipurpose Room at the Jr. High today from 9am - 11am. We will have additional registrations Tues 5:30 - 7:30, Thurs 5:30 - 7:30 and Sat the 12th from 9 - 12. Forms can also be mailed to the PO Box listed on the form. Thanks!!

The draft will be Monday November 21st at the Community Center. Board members should show up at 6:00pm. The draft will start at 6:30 and most likely be over by 8:00pm. Coaches will then contact their players with the intention of all children being contacted by their coach before Thanksgiving. Practices will most likely start up the week of the 28th and run up to Christmas break. There will be no practices during Christmas break due to the school being closed. Coaches can hold practices at other venues during this time if they wish. It will be their responsibility to set up these practices and to find the locations. Participation may be sparse though due to the holidays. Upon resumption of school, we will have practices the first week back and the first games should start on January 7th. The season will run 7 weeks or until February 18th. The typical week will be one practice during the week with a game on Saturday. Times will fluctuate because we are at the mercy of other school events going on. It is important that all involved know this. Nothing will be set in stone with basketball. We take what we can get and we are grateful for it. The schools are very gracious in allowing us to use their facilities and we must bend to accomodate the many, many functions that go on at the facilities. Basketball sizes: 27.5 for entry leagues. 28.5 for older girls and middle boy's leagues and 29.5 for older boys. Any child that signs up will be placed on a team. There are no tryouts. If you sign up, you will play.
